70°C

Heat reduction

Thermally insulating by design. Tribol's composite backplates keep braking consistent when it matters most.

79%

Lighter than steel

Reduced mass. Sharper response. Tribol's full composite backplate is 79% lighter than a mild steel equivalent - improving response, feel, and confidence under braking.

100%

Rust-free

Corrosion-free, always. Steel corrodes over time, our composite construction is rust-free – keeping your brakes safe.

Built for the GR Yaris

The GR Yaris is hugely capable on track, but once pace rises, drivers often see same braking issues: fade after sustained hard use, rising fluid temperatures, damaged caliper seals and pads that wear faster than expected when the car is driven properly.

Coldforge CF-3 S03 is designed specifically to address those issues at the pad.

56% lighter than steel backed pads

A full CF-3 S03 pad set will save you 1.32kg of unsprung mass directly at the wheel. That supports sharper response under braking and removes weight where it has the greatest effect on vehicle behaviour.

CF-3 Race Compound

The CF-3 compound is a semi-metallic, slotted blend developed for track and motorsport performance. It is designed to deliver stable friction, strong bite, and predictable modulation under repeated high-load braking. For best results it should be paired with with drilled or slotted cast iron discs and the provided stainless steel shims.

ColdForge Technology

At the core of the CF-3 S03 pad is Tribol’s patent-protected ColdForge carbon fibre composite backplate, which is 79% lighter and 97% less thermally conductive than an equivalent steel backplate, acting as a thermal barrier between the disc and caliper. This helps reduce heat transfer into the hydraulic system during repeated heavy braking, whilst maintaining the consistency, mechanical performance and bite required to excel in the harshest of braking scenarios.

Vehicle fitment

Use the table below to find the right fitment for your setup. Every Coldforge pad is built around the correct shape and application – with the added advantage of carbon fibre composite technology where conventional steel-backed pads fall short.

Bedding Procedure

Correct bedding ensures your pad and rotor are working together. For most track use this requires just 1-2 sighting laps. Follow the performance bedding procedure before extreme track use to ensure optimal braking and consistent friction.

Disclaimer

Track Use Only
These pads are designed exclusively for closed-circuit track and motorsport use.

Installation
Brake components must be installed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s procedures and torque specifications.

Bedding Required
Correct bedding is essential to achieve optimal braking performance.

Tribol cannot be held responsible for damage, injury, or performance issues resulting from incorrect installation, misuse, or failure to follow the recommended bedding procedure.
